Responsible for cleaning tanks in petroleum and related services. Heavy labor component to job, including directing of vacuum hose operations, staging and set up of equipment, and installation of cribbing to support safe access to tank. Also operate back-hoe, track – hoe large and mini, skid steer, and other excavation equipment.
Physical demands of the job are being on feet 100% of day, must be able to lift 50 lbs, be capable of wearing respiratory protection for up to 8 hours in a day, have full dexterity of limbs and range of motion, have good vision and hearing, be capable of climbing and working from elevated surfaces, be capable of working for extended periods in hazmat clothing and inside confined spaces.
